Merit Increase Time Frame?

I'm asking for a merit raise how long after the store manager okays it and sends it to HR does the raise show up on your check?  Do you get retro pay from the time it was submitted?  What happens to the hours you currently have towards your next raise?  Do those count towards your raise after the merit increase or are they forfited?  Thanks for your help.  Cincinnati store if that infor is needed.

I didn't know you got a merit raise + time based raise. I'm in Cincy/Dayton div and only get merit raises b/c of the department I'm in. When I worked in grocery I got time based raises. What dept are you in where you get both?

Midsouth div doesn't do merit raises. You only get raises based upon your full/part time status, seniority, and position in the store.

don't you have to be evaluated to get a raise?  i just noticed according to expresshr i'm still waiting for an eval and that is listed for six months ago.

I am fairly confident that unless you are making an unholy pact with your manager, or else your are somehow irreplaceable you will never see a merit raise. Can it be granted, possibly. Will it? Virtually impossible.
