Boh wrong?

I have to restock the holes in the store with what we have in stock according to the replenishment report. Well recently not a single thing that the replenishment report said we had in stock was actually In stock. The boh(number that should be in stock) is 22 on some so I don't understand how it can be that off. I can see a boh of 1 or 2 being messed up but 22 I'm not sure what to do.

Change the BOH then.  If you're sure your count is correct and you've included the stuff that just came in but hasn't been put up yet, then simply sign in with an RF unit, go to CAO and then item maintenance.  Scan the item and hit F2.  Make sure the the cursor is at the BOH line and simply input the correct number.  Hit F5 to update.  When it asks for a reason, just select "data integrity".  Before doing all that though I would go ask your supervisor first.

It can be off for a number of reasons:

1 - Theft
2 - Mispick/Warehouse Shortage
3 - Unscanned Damage/Return
4 - Store Use ( Deli, Meat, etc)

Boh off by more than a case is usually a mispick or possibly a shipper. Check your last delv. date,(CTRL O) has all stock been worked, checked the recv. area for loose boxes(if your recv. looks my store it could be anywhere)did your stocker think it was a new item and place it with KOMPASS, Check for shippers, this appears in the function 5 adjustments section, the boh will show a change with an SH following the change. This will also show any changes for the last thirty days, which may show some one changed the boh the amount you are looking to find. Also on a side note about changing BOH to 0, it is now required that all BOH changes to 0 must occur during the order review mode for that catalog. We just had a key retailing check and this was one that was missed by our store. You can only change it during order review for that catalog when that catalog is open for review. Talk about bassackwards.
