can your supervisor make you to go home. I don't like her and every time she say something to me or look at me I look at her a with a nastie face but i always keep a happy face with my customers. No where in my union hand book it says that they can.

They cant. Schedules are legal documents and you get to work the hours listed. Now they can try to "change the schedule" but the contract states (usually) that schedule changes have to be mutually agreed upon in advance.

No need to look at people with a nasty face, even if your supervisor is awful. That'll just make them start finding ways to get rid of you. But anyway, they cant force you to go home. I bet they'll cut your hours the next week, though, if possible.

is this person a co manager?  they need to suspend you and have a valid reason.  otherwise, no they can't just say to you "Go Home!".  Once, I got called up to the office by a co manager on a Sunday.  She suspended me for the day.  I told her, "Great!  Now I can go home and watch football." I went down and got a 12 pack of beer, made sure she saw it and off I went.

i think me and a fellow employee were talking politics. we were bashing Obama.  some people are easily offended by hearing the truth. she said we're not allowed to talk about such matters quoting some silly clause in the employee handbook. i told her she was full of it.  then she sent me home.  busy as sh+t sunday.  i make way more money doing my extracurricular activities so f+ck them. it was a nice day off.
