Can someone tell me exactly what a "job step" in this company is? I looked on express hr because I noticed I had gotten a raise, and then I saw the job step thing. There are only 4 people in my department. My job step is 20, my next job step is 0030. I don't know what this means.
Job step is determined by contract. Anytime you get a raise you go up a step. Under my contract I get a raise every 6 month. Every 6 months i go up a job step.
