I dont get these workers at store #24 I have been a night crew stocker for almost 3 years now and have never seen it this bad. 2 people on repack night, 3 people on load night with 800 to 1200 pcs loads, only schedualed 11pm to 3 or 4am. We have had 2 workers leave in the last 2 weeks and no replacments or extra hrs to us workers, but these idiots stay to help them finish the job. They should do like i do and leave at your schedualed time and leave them with the rest of the load, maybe then they would get the point. But all the other workers just say i need the hrs, as long as you keep giving them what they want they are just going to keep cutting hrs, it has already happened this way at our store. went from 35hrs slowly dwendling down to 24 hrs, hell we have a worker who is only schedualed 5 hrs for the week he is p****d. This is Krogers way of dividing the brothers in the union against each other. Let me explain when you do the select a schedual senority go's first so they will chose 6 days just to get enuff hrs. I dont blame them but by time it gets to the bottom of the list there are no hrs left, so those on the bottom get p****d at the other workers. This is what Kroger wants, a way to divide the union, not that the union has done a good job anyway. At our store there is 3 diffrent contracts what is this s**t, talk about bowing down to Kroger, the new workers dont even get a chance to get to where the senior workers are. I used to work for the telephone company and we would never would have put up with this s**t. And by the way you are only required to throw 55 cases per hour so stick to that, leave at your schedualed time and lets realy stick it right back at them.
