Expired write ups gone "live?"

I know that write ups expire 6 months or so after being issued. My co-worker/brother told me he had previous write ups that had been expired plus a brand new one. Well now he's on suspension pending termination; our manager said if he goes to arbritatiall all old write ups go "live" again. So in essence, they never expire: just lie dormant. Well the idiot went into management office after being suspended, found his file (management forgot to put his file back) and got rid of old write ups. Arbritation comes around and he gets his job back because of no prievious write ups. Needless to say management was shocked. Being as there was no evidence he got his job back. Should I report what he told me or keep it to myself. It seemed like a good idea but isn't that tampering with company property?

*Edit: my coworker/brother was on suspension pending termination. Posting from iPhone and it kept doing its stupid auto correct.

Unless it affects you or your job directly you need to keep it to yourself.

Well that was a BALLSY MOVE by your brother... wouldn't recommend ever trying it again though. There's probably some new safeguards in place now for mgmt. so personnel files don't ever get mysteriously removed again.

Why would you want to get your brother fired?

My vote is to just let it go. it has nothing to do with you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Bravo to your brother, I love his covert Black Ops move!!

Otherwise, I'm with the others. Just leave it alone. All things reversed, pretty sure you wouldn't appreciate him doing a procto on YOU~~~

He didn't do his assigned sweeps; and not gathering all his carts from the lot. He was warned and our latest manager is "by the book" guy. Goes anal if protocol is not followed 100%

Once his employees wear him down he will either quit kroger or learn that 100% isn't how you manage a store. it's the people below you that you should be afraid of not the ones above.

It is impossible to simply throw away write-ups. They are also filed with human resources.

I work with a guy who management has been trying to fire since he started 12 years ago. He literally has a binder full of write-ups and has been suspended many times. I wonder why they can't just revive all of those if they wanted to get rid of him lol.
