Article explains why AAHCA is really bad for all of us with Health Coverage that is under Taft-Hartly. While the rest of the country will now be getting tax credits to pay for their health insurance premiums, we as Union Members will not. Although this really doesn't change anything for us as we do not see anything in way of tax credits for our premiums now, we will not get to take advantage of what other lower wage workers are able have or even what some salaried managers in the store will be able to get in the way of tax credits for paying for their Health Insurance. We just got screwed by UFCW and the Democrats.
So UFCW supported the law at first then found out that we really did have to "read the bill to find out what was in the bill". Oh well, hopefully I will be promoted before the start of this so I can get my tax credits next year.
Just be thankful you have insurance and dont have to buy it elsewhere..tax credits wont be shet compared to what people are going to have to pay for insurance.
