Didn't give me a call to give me a heads up that I was on the schedule. Just happened to notice on the online schedule that i'm working this week. I have not done any training specifically related to my actual job so is that basically what the first day of work actually is/same as your on the job training?

This is the Kroger way...you get thrown in the deep end and sink or swim. What dept are you in?

very first day should be computer training. good luck and if you're confused about something ask someone. do your best to not go in blind. Everyone has a rough start don't get discouraged.

I'm in the produce department. I did the computer training at the division office before I was scheduled at my store

Basically, you pat the tomatoes until someone gives you something to do.

I didn't really do a freshness check yet, all I did was break down the pallets and stock the salad section for my entire first ship after a quick tour
