Reclassification pay

I recently stepped down as a lead clerk after being one for 5 years.  I expected to lose the 50 cent premium pay for being a lead clerk.  I did not expect to also lose my reclassification pay I had gotten 5 years earlier.  Does anyone know Krogers policy on this?

Can you explain more in detail such as your previous pay rate, current payrate, etc.

oh wow! wow wow wooow wow woow.

so let me get this straight.  you stepped down. from being a lead clerk. you planned to do this for some time right? and while planning all of this out, you spoke to your union representative and asked what your new pay will be. then you thought it over some more. then you called up your union representative again and asked one more time what your new pay will be. then you went to your union contract and looked at the back where it lists all the wages and went over the numbers. and you made damn sure in your mind where you will fall. and only after thinking and rethinking and asking and figuring out everything did you finally step down.

now with all that said, what is "reclassification pay"?
