We had a 1000 pc a couple of days ago with 4 of us.  I didn't see 1000 pcs.  I think it was mostly shippers and bulk.  jucy juice shipper was 200 pcs.

I just got done leading lastnight with one new helper.  It takes atleast 3 people to run it.  We accomplished a lot.

Btw, our contract does not allow us to work alone.  I have always been told another kroger employee must be in the building.  I was also told the outside floor guy counts as that person.  There was a miscommunication one night and I was alone facing our store.  I got most of it done and wasn't going to sit around all night waiting for daycrew to show up.  I was told afterward that I should have gone to the breakroom and waited for another kroger employee.  I doubt that night made it to my permanant record!!

1200/60=20hrs+facing store(6hrs)+recving(2hrs)+order review(1 1/2hrs)+Bstock review(1 1/2)=31 hrs.  Piece of cake.

My helper was being obnoxious so I cranked thru 50 cases in 35 minutes(without facing) and had him face the aisle while I unloaded the truck.

I've worked on the night crew (albeit for a different company back in the day) where I was literally the only guy in the store. Weird feeling, too! Of course, it was a smaller store, and it wasn't EVERY night and the load wasn't as big, but I wonder how common this is nowadays?
