"Vacation Week"... scheduled to work a shift in the middle of the week.

e-schedule at its finest.

You sure your password didn't just expire? They all expire after a certain amount of time. Ranges from like 45 to 70 to 90 days.

If it did that to me and I were in town, I'd show up and work the shift. It'd be automatically overtime. Cha-ching!

That happened to me once. E-schedule had me on my vacation but had me scheduled for a day in the middle? Did I show? Nope. Was I threatened with a write up? Yep. No, I didn't care, yes I refused to sign, and when I told them I want union they dismissed the write up.

Has anyone else had to start staying open later because of e-schedule?

Ever since I started, the bakery has closed at 9.

Now, we're staying open until 9:30. The extra half hour is for "cleaning". Even though you're still working 8 hours either way so it's not saving any time whatsoever.

It doesn't affect anyone else either. I worked 8-4 today, not 8:30-4:30. When the dept. head works a night, she still works 1-9. It only affects the last person to come in which is crappy imo. So I work 1:30-9:30 tomorrow. Fun.

Even our dept. head complained about it but she was told it was because of e-schedule. All the departments have to stay that extra half hour now.

I ran the eschedule today and our pharmacists schedules are done way ahead of time. The e-schedule doesn't know this, so it tries to make their schedule up. It had a pharmacist there from 9a-8p. We're open until 9p. We don't operate if a pharmacist isn't there. So why it did that, I have NO idea. Our district trainer told me to just do our schedule like we usually do, we know what works, when we're busy and when we need coverage. So I ignore what ELMS says and schedule everyone the same. it's just a LOT more work now. I hate e-schedule.

I work in the druggm department. Eschedule has essentially ruined any life i would have. I went from working 6-2pm and 8-4 pm and now i have to work 2pm to 10 pm almost every day of the week. I have 5 people under me in seniority and I dont get the early work shifts that people under me are getting. Eschedule needs to go away in a big way!
