I was looking to see what I will be getting paid tomorrow, and I see "Non Cash Prize" Earnings 10.00 and was wondering if you guys had any idea what this would be for?
Actually, generally it's an entry for any time you win some type of cash (which includes gift cards and prepaid debit cards) prize. Small prizes like that which are awarded in some sort of on-the-spot situation normally pass through without being added like that, but if you win something in some sort of official capacity, it will end up on your stub. Idk why.
I know this is old but I was checking my pay stub from last week to figure out why I made so little money, and I saw NON-CSH PRZ D as a deduction on expresshr. So after I won a 20 dollar gift card it gets deducted from my check at a later point? Should I ask someone at work about it?

I believe they are required to post what they gave us in gift cards. It is added and then deducted from each paycheck to prove it was given for tax purposes. These are the gift cards from admin professionals day and should reflect the amount you recieved.
So basically, when they give us a $15-20 gift card for good service, they pull they pull the money from our checks, so we get "rewarded" with a gift card we pay for? Hmmm.., not a reward to me, here's an idea, why not have THE STORE pay for the card? It WILL NOT hurt them and they CAN afford it.
