My dept head (who I'm not very fond of) tells me the other day about his date with one of the co-managers. He said he asked her out she said yes and in about an hour he tells me he was yada yada yada deep in her. Now he didn't say yada yada he said something that rhymes with walls and straws. If I report this what do you think will happen to the young man?
It's a dept. head and a co-manager. I wouldn't say anything, while obviously that should be against policy it'll just end up getting around back to you and they'll find a a reason to get you in trouble. :X
But ewwwww, the thought of any of my store's dept. heads or co-managers "doing it" really is not an image i wanted in my head.
You have no ability to prove your statement, you are less important to the company, and you are being a "tattle tale". I doubt anything would come from it other than harm to you.

Very early into my being promoted to salaried, I had a brief fling with an hourly chick. I WAS VERY LUCKY that I came to my senses and ended it in such a way as not to haunt me......Since then, I've seen other managers just get roasted by this kinda thing.
I have no value judgements: People get together, and things happen. S E X can be more over powering than a drug. More often than not, the parties involved have the best intentions re not letting it affect those working for them.....but they're just lying to themselves.
Does it go on? A LOT? Yes, of course! On every job site in the world. Should it? Hell no! And for the very reason it's barred: The simple appearance of favoritism alone is suitable grounds for these policies.
Now: To the O.P. I would strongly heed the advice of the first few respondents. DO NOT cause un needed problems, it'll only back fire on you. Seen that happen, too.
