Expect to be left alone after a few hours. It's really easy. You will be nervous but don't be. Ask questions and for help if needed. Don't worry about ringtender yet but learn where the barcodes are usually at and plu produce codes.
the first thing i tell new cashiers is to focus on getting your money right. when customers give it to you, count it and tell them how much they gave you and when giving change always count it back to customers.
eventually you'll know where the barcodes are and you'll learn produce.
ask questions. if you get an extreme couponer get help.
make sure you're clear on checking ID. if you're uncertain, ask for help.
