I'm new. I was asked to work tomorrow 12am-9am and I wasn't really told much... I need to know what I should wear my first day , jeans Or black pants, tshirt ? What color since I wasnt given a Kroger shirt yet?
Oh and usually are the doors still unlocked for 3rd shift or do I have to buzz in some where?
First job ever so I'm pretty much nervous since I don't know wth to expect >.<
Black khaki's. Over here it's a blue polo shirt, but it really depends on where you're located. Supposed to get the first shirt free and then can pay $7 for additionals. I no longer work for kroger, but still frequent this forum.. Sigh.
Call up the store and ask to speak to your supervisor. If you don't know who that is or they're not there, ask to speak to the person who hired you. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to one of the managers.

Our store closes at midnight.
For night crew, we show up and the cashier is leaving at midnight. We wear black pants and a blue kroger shirt. We are allowed to wear a compfortable t shirt when the store is closed from 12am to 6am. Shrts are no good if you are crawling around working stock on bottom shelves. When the store opens at 6 am, we need to be in uniform with a name tag.
I am mostly scheduled to come in at 2am. The night manager is usually at the door waiting for me. If not, call the store number and as soon as recording starts playing, press 9. You should hear the 101 page over the intercom. If not, tap on glass with a key. Don't break the glass tho!!!
I work in a store in Mt. Juliet TN, and we get one t-shirt. Managers and supervisors get as many shirts as they want because and I quote, "We don't want to have to do laundry every day." SMH. I guess the cashiers and baggers want and enjoy doing laundry every day.
