If you hate your job, find a new one. It shouldnt be hurting your legs and back so much during a 4 hour shift. Something is either wrong with you or you need more excercise.

This job basically kills any social life i had before i started and if it wasn't for the fact i've only been working here for a month i'd quit. Some of the people i work with are ok but can't stand the customers or how much it hurts my back and legs halfway through a 4 hour shift.
Yes, customers can be annoying at times but it is them that sign your paycheck. Most are pleasant tho. Hit them with kindness by bending over backwards to give them nothing to fuss about.
You need to get more exercise if 4 hours of bagging and carts exhausts you. You must be from the internet/video game generation.
Welcome to working for a living. Jobs are known to get in the way of social lives. I stand all day and deal with crabby, sick people and I still enjoy my job. Seriously, you need to buck up if only 4 hours leaves you sore.

It's ok to vent, and I think that's all you're doing here. Just remember how fortunate you are to have a job, where so many others do not.
it's problems i have from a wreck i was in 2 years ago
Sorry to hear that. I was the first anon responder. I can not fathom the aches you have. If you are young, you need to try and exercise where the aches are if you can. The pain doesn't go away, it just seems less. You may not be able to make the pains go away, but need to try to find a way to cope with it so you can live a fulfilled life. Drugs and alcohol are not the answer. The world is not going to stop and wait for your pains to stop.
If you are older, welcome to the real world. You will find more and more things cause you to ache as you get older.
I stretched my ankle ligament when I ran over self with a power jack when I was 20. 23 years later, if I am working for longer than 12 hours, it will ache on me.
kroger is the only social life i get which is sad. you didn't say what job you perform. if you're a courtesy clerk, you'll have a hard time if you physically can't do a four hour shift. it took me awhile to get physically able to cashier. my right arm hurt. i had to ice it down for the first few weeks because i wasn't use to the repetition and motion. eventually it was fine.
standing eight hours a day on concrete is for the birds.
Wow I feel very fortunate to be working in the store that I do. I love it. And I love all the people. Department managers are awesome, too - they actually wait on customers and are very helpful when things need to get done. My only complaint is management expecting us to get things done in less time. Very stingy with the hours as of late.
