Hmm, If you have a copy of the previous contract, the payrate is about 25-50 cents more an hour than that. I do not see a Utility clerk classification on the previous contract. Looking under Specialty Clerk(hired after 6/18/10) would be a wild guess.

Anyhow, payrate for utility clerk is:

Start- $7.60

1 year- $8.00

2 year- $8.50

Oh, they're not the only one. 1995 ratified its contract the beginning of this year and we still have yet to receive new books.

officially reason given to me as there is language that had to be changed due to the ACA. i haven't poked around enough to find out if that washes.

if you're upset, start holding people accountable. you have a business agent, and membership meetings. give them an earful. it's a democratic organization.
