Can anyone tell me who sings this song?

Hi, my store has started playing more variety at night and this song caught my attention.

 

The lyrics are as follows. I believe they're accurate:

 

"can we make it to the open sky

we can reach it if we try

if you're touching me tonight

and our love just feels so right"

 

The singer is female, and it sounds 80s maybe. Google, bing, youtube, and lyrics sites turn up nothing.

It's actually a cry for help, some poor employee's begging to escape from Kroger, even if it means going through the roof. And he's in love with a co-worker.

On a more serious note, try Midomi (you'll need a microphone), or Shazam if you can. Or, record your beautiful voice and post it here, or to a music helping site, or even better Reddit's TipOfMyTongue forum, I've gotten great results from that.
