I was told as of today the front end has to cover all the fuel breaks not the lunches just the breaks. So if the fuel center person comes in at 6am they would have to go on break at 7 so the accounting person can take theirs by 730 and then try to get the service desk open by 8. The non foods dept use to have run all the fuel breaks and lunches. If I was the fuel clerk I would be pissed that I would have to go on break at 7 only working an hour. Has anyone else had this issue?
I'm a fuel center manager I come in at 5:30 am I take first break at 10:00am.our store has none crossed trained to even come to the fuel center. Your fuel center ppl are lucky that you çan help out..
it sucks to do it one hour in which is the minimum under my contract but sometimes that's the needs of the business at least on the front end which seems like it's perpetually on the verge of failure.
Uhhh I was recently "trained" to run the fuel center and we don't really get breaks.. all we really ever do is call in to the front desk and ask if we can go to the bathroom.. and if they say yes then we put a stupid sign up that says we will be back in 5 minutes.

Some of the more recent fuel centers have a bathroom built into them. I've been at my current store about 5 months and the only time we have ever gone out there since I've been here is to take care of lottery tickets that come in.
