I believe you only get overtime if you're called-in to work the 6th day. In other words, you'll only get overtime for the 6th day if your department is understaffed, someone was sick, or you know some procedure that the others in your department don't know that would warrant the company to call you in on a 6th day that you originally had off.
local 951, sixth day is overtime if you were hired before march of 2005 no matter how many hours you work in a week.
local 876, sixth day is overtime no matter what.
"sixth day" is defined as a "call in" day. so if you're scheduled five shifts of six hours each, and get called in on your Wednesday off for a 4 hour shift, you would be entitled to overtime.

If I'm scheduled 6 days in local 876, is sixth day overtime?
In some contracts it's not overtime. However one of the anon posters says in your contract it would be (I'm in 1995) so you should check with whomever does kronos/payroll at your store.

In the 876 contract:
6th day for fulltime is OT but they are already gauranteed 5 x 8hour days so it makes sense that the 6th is OT. On a holiday week, then the 5th day is OT. 4x8hr regular days + 8 hour holiday pay.
For a part time employee, 6th day is not OT unless they already have 40 hours before that 6th day.
