Here's a "marvelous" (NOT!) idea;

Lets put new hires to work without finishing their training. They received web training and VERY minimal, closer to none actually on hands on training. So all their web training consisted of was checkstand etiquette, customer service, and how to bag items. The other training which was hands on was left to....(wait for it...) Kitten !!! And guess whose fault it was that they didn't know how to do their sweeps, carts, go backs, clockings, etc. KITTEH!!! They EXPECT me to train new hires on top of my growing list of responsibilities. And if they aren't trained 1000% then it's why don't they know this, that, etc. they should recieve hands on training at a practice store BEFORE coming to work in a reg store. Or at the very least have a trainer at their side like we use to do. I have nothing against new hires... It's just why the hell do they have to "shadow" and follow me all the time. I haven't done their work in quite a while being as I was promoted. So therefore I forgot some of their duties and need a "refresher" if I am to do managements' job and train new hires. It's all very hectic. Me training them, and my duties not being done, getting yelled at by management for not having all my duties done, why xxx doesn't know how to do xxx task, why isn't xxx shadowing you, etc. I suggested they get th trainer back and train them properly. Their response: "Do your job."
