I became suspicious when it was in a different container. The ounces are the same but the new stuff isn't as thick because they've added more water. They've also increased the amount of artificial flavoring to try to cover it up. They think people don't notice things like that but they do.

I agree. The free Private Selection icecream was good tho.
I used to buy the Kroger quarts and they don't taste like real icecream.
My nephews love when I buy they totinos pizza rolls. The Kroger brand taste watered down...and mushy dough.
i've noticed a significant dip in quality in lots of the kroger products recently, it used to be that they were comparable to the name-brand items but that's just not the case anymore.
