okay so i worked at Kroger for a little over 9 years. finally got fed up with the management at that store and after 3 store transfer requests and 5 department transfer requests i quit!!! ... 7 months later and i decide i would go back but at different store but of course same district. i was called back from the store i applied at and talked to the asp (secretary) who called me and to asked if i wanted to go to orientation that following Wednesday i agreed and made sure she saw where i did work at Kroger before hand and explained to her the prior aggravation i was in. and she said she understood and that was that... 8 days went by and Wednesday arrived and I showed up to orientation early. HIRING MANAGER CALLED ME TO SIDE OF ROOM. said she tried calling me (bull ****)!!!!!! and Kroger is not interested in hiring me.. um mmmmmm.... so is there nothing i can do now??? pissed me off store was out of way and no one ever tried contacting me on home or cell!!!!! F'ING LAZY LYING HIRING MANAGER!!!
You voluntarily quit your previous position. It was seven months ago. They have no obligation whatsoever to hire you if they do not wish to. You're pretty much out of luck. Probably better off finding a job away from Kroger, regardless.
Dude. You quit. Then 7 months later you want back in the game? Why not look for a job somewhere else? I've had people call my phone and it not show up for whatever reason. Maybe they were telling the truth, maybe they weren't. They don't want you, go find a job somewhere else. Honestly, I wouldn't rehire someone who quit, because after awhile its the definition of insanity.
