I had to call in this past Sunday because of a nasty ear infection. It's so bad that my balance has been affected and when I first called in the "ass"istant manager asked will you feel better after laying down a few hours? She can't put a display shipper together and barely graduated college and nows she's a damned m.d.? Anyone else get any crazy question from managers when calling in sick?
Ha. No, did end up with pink eye by the end of the day though. I figure I must have rubbed my face at some point, and only well into the day did I find out she had pink eye. She had been rubbing her face the whole time Everything she touched that day as a cashier, at least once customer probably got it too.

I had one of those nasty ear infections, and I know about losing one's balance, and about passing out. That's nothing to mess around with! Your doctor might be able to get you an antibiotic for that, though. Hope everything gets better. Remember, YOUR HEALTH comes first...Be fortunate if you have a manager who understands that. I've seen both types of managers...the compassionate ones and the ones who don't give a @@@@, so trust me, I know...
