Hi all. I've been working for Kroger for about 1 1/2 years and have come up with new "gourmet" cupcakes and truffle cakes for the seasons. I test the flavors out on associates and most enjoy the concoctions, so I put them out under "Custom Cupcake" or "Exotic Truffle Cake." Which part of corporate do I contact to make my ideas a part of the program?
Don't bother. They'll chew you out for "not following procedures and policies in place".
I know one of our bakery people being fired because she made a custom cupcake decoration and put it for sale as a regular item. Supposedly she was only allowed to make "custom" decorations for customers who place an order for them.
I'm not sure how you'd go about submitting new ideas for flavors of cupcakes created...the big problem with that would be making sure the ingredients are listed on the labels in case of allergies, etc. As far as designs go for custom cupcakes (assuming you mean 24 ct. Creative cupcakes) they've never tied my hands about being creative...no copyright infringement of course.

You don't. Kroger doesn't want to hear about any ideas or suggestions, no matter how good they are, from their lowly employees.
