How can I switch out of my department?

I started in the Pharmacy and I don't think I'm a good fit for the position. Is there a way for me to move to another job, like cashier or bagger? Do I have to be in the union first?

Ask the head cashier over on the front end and see if they can take you. Is they say yes then talk to you store manager when they say yes then you get moved over. Good luck!

Talk to your ARM. What problems are you having in the pharmacy? Is your lead tech not helping you succeed?

Correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't you take a pretty big pay cut if you switched from pharmacy to front end? I thought pharmacy was on different pay rates.

Pharmacy techs are paid different, with different raises. It starts off the same, but as a lead tech I make several more dollars per hour than people on the sales floor that have been there for much longer than I have. The lead tech position only gives me $1 more per hour, but with our raises and such even without the $1/hr for lead tech my pay is still higher than those out there on the floor. No to mention in Dayton/Cincy division we get 2 weeks vacation and 7 PH days in the first year.
