So I got my paycheck today and I'm missing a day i worked. My store has a policy, which I think is stupid, that if you write your time in the book then a manager has to sign if manager ddoesn't sign you don't get paid. Well I have a certain manager that always forgets to sign off, I went in early last week I told this manager to sign and I'm assuming this manager forgot..AGAIN. what's my next move? cant they really not pay me? And its not really a policy my store manager just told us that its something she wanted done

They have to pay you per Federal laws. They just don't have to give you hours on the next schedule...
Go to the manager you originally spoke with and ask them if they remember. Then suggest you bring the book to them so they can sign it. Then request the correction on your next check with whoever does payroll. Then, wait until next paycheck before you bring in the union.
