No, I live in Michigan, went to King Soopers and Loaf n Jug in Colorado, did not get my discount., but I still got employee 3x fuel points when it was going on. Maybe it just depends what store.

Does the employee discount work if you leave your divisional area? If i'm in Ohio and I go to Indiana for a trip and stop in at a kroger, does my 10% discount on kroger products work?
However, you may or may not get the discount you were expecting. Just like coupon policies and senior discounts, employee discounts are decided on a division-by-division basis. So, the system may simply see that you are an associate and give you the discount expected in that particular division.
It totally depends. I went an hour north which is in the Columbus division and I didn't get my discount, I was in the Atlanta division earlier this year and got my 10% discount.
