Anyone from Central Div. know the story on something?

Does anyone have the story on how/why the District 10 Deli MR is now a co-manager? I noticed the other day she was in a store, and word is she's now a co- but had no details as to how/why. To go from being a deli MR for about 10 years to being a co- is not a career advancing move in my books, so it sounds like a demotion.

I am in central and no nothing about it....But I am in District 7...... I didn't even know there was 10 districts in central.......

 It is a demotion. We had a Meat MR in my District 10 SW who got bumped down to a co-manager.

i saw one go be a unit manager with no co-manager experience but i hadn't seen one dropped to co-manager before

I think I know exactly who ur talkin bout.... and in central when ur in mgmt ur only as good as yesterday's performance especially if ur front line. So maybe some poor evaulations and failure to step it up and work the (secretly mandated) Kroger half day aka 12 hr shifts 6 days a week or 7 if declared needed by the district mgr. People get old and younger preppy Kr middle mgmt. are workaholics that are married to their jobs and have zero respect for ten or 40 years of previous service and expect total Kr Work comes first- regardless of ur health, family, quality of life/work balance. I know many, many older front line mgrs. or perishable reps and 98% of them have done more for and earned more profit for by accident than the cubicle egomaniacs have done on purpose. NO COMPANY FOR OLD PEOPLE!

Hm, as wrong as it may sound, I'm kinda glad she got taken down a notch. From my dealing with her when i was with the company, she personified the uppity, snot nosed attitude everyone thought she had. Never once did she ever help anyone out, even when she said she was. Her favorite tactic was to swoop in unannounced, make no scene like everything was hunky doory, then drop a dime on you to the DM. Good for her, being in our shoes.

I work with one Co and one Assistant who once had their own stores. The Co stepped down voluntarily because of the stress (he came from a 120 mil/yr Super Center); the Assistant was demoted. And judging by her attitude towards people, it's easy to see why.

I personally believe the only reason she wasn't fired was because of her minority status. In four months she's already been in trouble, and screams the race card/"Ima call a LAWYER" every time.

 I hear you loud and clear. This company seems intent on destroying everyones livihood for the sake of diversity. B---S--T !!  Diversity = WEAKNESS
