so today I was try to take the black plastic bins back to where we store them, next to the bailer, but some jackass left a cart full of product in the hallway and I bumped into it with my cart.  All the plastic bins (despite supposedly being able to stack neatly) went everywhere.  I cut the **** out of my leg and now have a huge lump and it's very painful.  None of the people I spoke to about seemed to give zero ****s.

file an accident report and go to the doctor. You have 24 hours from when the incident happened.

but then they won't get their donuts and and i'll mess up the "no injuries" bull**** thing. just sounds like pressure to NOT REPORT injuries, really. I complained people keep leaving carts in the hallway but no one listens..

 You tell him Bagboy!

Yes, insist they fill out an accident report and let you go to the doctor. They probably ARE trying to keep you from making it official, but they can't legally refuse to fill out a report and send you to the doc without causing themselves way more problems than they want to deal with. (If possible, take a picture of the cart in the hallway, but even if everything's been cleaned up try to get a picture of where it happened in case you need it later.) With Kroger, the rule is "Cover Your A$$," because they'll try to blame it on you somehow to keep from having to pay for your treatment or having their worker's comp premiums go up. Also make sure you get pictures of the injury before it's treated, just in case you need those later.

File an accident report. If it gets worse, you're SOL in terms of getting any worker's comp. Do it.
