You have people called "union representatives" at your store. "to contact the union" means talking to them or calling the number for your local UFCW headquarters.

They work there. You've undoubtedly spoken to them many times. They are normal employees, just like you. They are one or more of your co-workers.

It means the server is overloaded.  You wait for people to log off and try again later.  Hopefully, Kroger will buy more bandwidth during peak times, like Friday when the schedule gets posted.  Maybe the Key Retailing simulator can figure out the peak Eschedule server time!!

Let us say there is enough bandwidth for 400 users but, 500 kroger employees are trying to check the schedule at the same time.  That is why you get that message.

There is one thing you can do to help.  When you are done, make sure you "Log Off".  I had my browser crash once(after the rush) and when I tried logging back into the website, I was already logged in.  I had to log off in order to log back in.  I am suprised the first session didn't time out.  It is possible people are just closing their browsers and not logging out.

What positions are they normally?  Does every store have them?

The employees within the store vote for the union steward for each store.  When the steward can't handle the problem, they can call up the regional rep.  Or, you can call them up.  Ours is in the bakery.  The meat department has their own steward.   Ask one of the older employees in the back who the shop steward is.  Don't ask a store manager.

It can be any position though it's normally someone with full time status.

Maybe the people who designed the greatpeople.me website are the same ones who designed the Obamacare website.

You must be one of those diehard Obama supporters.  After everything that's happened, I can't believe people still support him.

You must watch a lot of Fox news to think that people having health insurance is a bad thing. I would rather health care become more affordable to it needing someone else to help pay for it.

If that means I support Obama then I guess so.

And who's subsidizing all this health insurance?  Me.  It's not my fault that some people don't have health insurance.

If you already have, or are going to have, health insurance through Kroger.... no, you're not. Sorry if that bursts your bubble.

You're obviously too stupid to get the big picture.

You guys are going a bit off-topic. In my opinion, the e-schedule shouldn't have been implemented if the system wasn't updated ahead of time. Heck, I believe a lot of new stuff shouldn't be implemented until its tested.

Now, concerning the ACA, I think what would make a lot of people happy is if they just did away with the individual mandate. It was illegally passed anyway, seeing how taxes are suppose to first be passed through the House of Representatives which it was not. Republicans and Democrats alike are considering delaying the mandate due to the lack of functionality with the healthcare site.

If the only thing you can bring to the table, for this discussion, is name calling than debating with you is pointless.

So I guess i'm the only one here where the site works for me 90% of the time. For you guys, it seems it works only 10% of the time.

I mean, it just worked for me. I'm on it right now.
