Actually, they set out the bins to take donations from shoppers for walmarts' needy employees.

Personally, I think Sam Walton was brilliant but I do not like shopping at walmart.  Unfortunately, the jeans I use for work I can only find at walmart.

I don't mind wal-Mary that much... Though I actually got yelled at by management for shopping there... Go figure.

I used to work at Walmart unloading the delivery trucks.  It was an interesting experience.

I've read a few negative comments about managers on this site and think about my time at Walmart.  So far my job is fine and I doubt the managers here can ever touch the drill sargent mentality that Walmart trains their managers to be.

Other than the tough working conditions, I like Walmart.  I don't want to work there, but I do shop there, particularly for clothes.  They have some nice carpenter jeans/pants now for $15.  Same thing at Old Navy would be double the price!!

There's something about Walmart that just screams low class.

I don't mind shopping at Walmart, there's some things that you can get there that you can't at Kroger.

But this is a little ridiculous, if they really cared about employees they'd simply pay a little better.
