I get fed up with them always telling us they want this done, that done, asap, or what not when were not even done with the first task...never a Thank you or Great Job,..So I just say Im on it n do what I can do...But really ticks me off is when I told a mgr I been here 20 yrs and if u dont think I value my job that I dont know what else I can show u, I always give my 100% and she goes " thats not good enough"...ummm okay..I felt like telling her U get your azz down here and show me the way its done...
There's really nothing you can do except let it slide off your back. If you give it too much thought, you'll just be miserable. Just do your best and screw what anyone else says.
Just remember... coming from entry level mgmt. that for the most part: tell you to do the obvious, or are standing in your way, or feel in control by micro-managing.
The real reply should be "Nothing's Impossible For Those Who Don't Have To Do It!" But that would earn you a writeup with disciplinary action for bringing in the facts. The real Ahole mgrs. are the one's that never actually do any work or never even assist anyone yet they can sit at their desks and think up extra duties for those of us already overburdened....
The best line ever to give them is this "You should of hired that octoypus when you had the chance" when they're drilling you and over assigning you on tasks needing to be done.

My assistant manager says he wants results. And if you say you got this, this, and that to do, he simply says " well if you stopped chatting it might get done... Yes?" I mean seriously wtf man?
