what should I put under deposit type and should I leave the deposit blank next to it

For deposit type choose "Remaining net pay" and yes, I left the deposit box next to it blank. Just beware that it takes 3 pay cycles to take effect. Meaning that you still have to pick up your next 3 checks in-store.

Or it may not. My direct deposit started with the second paycheck.
