I was getting 50 hours a week at my old store and was transferred as a full time employee, at my new store I'm only getting 24 hours because of seniority. Anything I can do about this? I'm speaking with my store manager tomorrow, but its my third day and the person who schedules me told me just told me that. Thanks
If you transfer to a store that's in a different division and under a different contract, then yes, you do lose your seniority. If the store you transfered to is under the same contract as your old store, your seniority remains intact. If that's the case, then they shouldn't have allowed you to transfer if the new store didn't have room for a full time person.
