It's late and I have to work tomorrow, so I'm curious as to what everyone's department is? I hope I got them all down (I put an Other in case I had a brainfart) but I just want to see what kind of diversity we have on the forums. I'm floral.
I'm actually a daytime grocery clerk - there is not a radio button for that. (I put 'overnight stocker')
How did you manage that? We lost half our grocery department when Eschedule started. The only room on days was for the manager and a reciever. Everything(grocery, dairy, frozen) is now meant to be stocked at nights or headed that way here.
I am a night stocker. Don't feel like making an account to vote.

We receive a truck in the morning and I come in to sort it/help stock it. I'm the only one that works during the day; the rest come in afternoons or night. We receive a frozen truck during the day also and a second grocery truck comes in at night. It's a huge store.

yah, we had one pt person on days like that but he retired. He never got much done because he was usually running registers. He was supposed to do replenishments to keep the holes down but usually the product for holes was buried under 800 pounds of other products. I am part time. I wish I could go to days and work the job you are working but I would be so missed on nights and there would be so much drama from the daycrew and I would end up running registers!!! I don't even think our contract would allow me to go to days without starting over at zero senority. Forget that..
We get 01 Grocery, Dairy, Produce, Meat and Frozen on a super truck 6 days a week usually around 4am. Grocery sits in the backroom all day while we finish the previous days truck. We get 69 groceries 3 days a week anywhere from 5am to 10 am. It sits on Lcarts until I am offered OT to stay and get er done before the next 69 truck comes in or the holes get out of control. I think we are a larger store too. We are supposed to run all grocery(01 & 69) on nights with 6 people. We had 5 day grocery people bail on us when eschedule said they were to come to nights. We need 3-4 more people to meet the 26 hour per pt worker goal. Everytime we get one new person, 1 seems to drop out of the game. 3 of them are new and not very quick. They were spoiled by working on days and they have no clue what it means to hussle to get the work done. Plus no one on days knows how to properly condition the store. The 3 new people miss about 30% of the aisles and what they did condition looks like a 3rd grader did it...

I'm also daytime grocery clerk. Though overall, there's only like 7 of us in grocery: 2 daytime, 3 night time, and 2 frozen.
My store seems to be the odd one out from the group in this forum. We're looking for more warm bodies, and everyone gets the hours they want. Even though we've had some new hires, our hours haven't changed at all.
