I'm sorry but,i feel as many at my store that e-schedule has screwed over alot of hard working people who depend on a good amount of hours to support their family. I put in alot of hours before our grand reopennning. Now that we have e-schedule ,and my hour are less i have a hard time making my bills. Now fair as one of many who have bust our butts, and got left out in the cold by a company we trust. Listen up corpprate it my help your bottom line. But your hurting the very people who have help make you alot of money. Where is your head! Because it's not compassion for your workers who depend on the hours you give them . All you seem to be looking at with this e-schedule is how not to pay your hardworking worker's. Your managment teams most of them are more concerned with getting their dang bonus for keeping there workers under hours budget. In this case you are showing yourself to be as cold, heartless as walmart. Shame on you!!!!!!!!! And the scheduling has made it almost impossible to get a second job just to make it. I've even had to file for food stamps, and go to a food pantry just to feed my family, because a my pay go's to bills, and gas.

The reduction in hours likely has little to do with E-Schedule. It's just the essence of the beast.
A Kroger employee agrees to sell his time and labor to a sociopathic mechanism designed for the sole purpose of generating profit. He is thus viewed as a tool to be used without conscience and without empathy--within the confines of current law, of course (snarl, grumble, snarl). Tools that receive benefits or lock half their availability up in other pursuits do not best serve the interest of Profit, so they are not wanted. The options? Proceed with acceptance or commence with an exit.
I don't trust the high ups in my store who line their pocket with bonuses ,because they can change the e-schedule to cut costs. I've seen manager's doing what a union person should be doing all to cut cost. Greed has no place when you are trying to get by,and pay the bills it sucks. I stayed late 3 days in a row on thanksgiving week to finish 15 or more turkey's for oders. How do they thank me lower my hours more. 24 hours doesn't pay the bills.
Saying that Eschedule is the reason for your reduced hours is like saying it's Kroger's fault that Fritos taste bad. The real culprit is ELMS. Eschedule just gives you easier access to your schedule. ELMS calculates how many hours should be allotted to certain tasks, which can be bad since there are definitely differences in productivity amongst employees. ELMS is supposed to be such a great calculating tool for Kroger, but it only takes a few people calling in 'sick' to ruin the whole thing.

I for one since i had surgery last yr . When my partner had a heart attack on 20 of nov. That was the first in over a yr. Before that i worked my schedule everyday even when i was sick i worked. So not everyone screws up the mix for no reason. And when i had emergency surgery i hadn't planned on being out for 3 months. I go in on schedule, and i work over if asked. I go in on days off when i'm call. So no everyone screws up the hours.
