Basically from my understanding, if you are on leave because of a work-related injury or illness, you should be getting paid already.

Otherwise, you would have to take that up with your insurance or disability office, in which case this is the wrong place to pose this question.

But seriously, 5 wks? You should be getting paid by now. I'd check on it ASAP.
