They may happen to work at a store in another division, but they aren't supposed to work.
Each division determines things like senior and associate discounts separately, and your card is not guaranteed to be recognized as an employee card in a division other than your own.
Why not? As a consumer, I've used my discount card all over the country. Employees should be entitled before consumers. If not, it's yet another reason why Kroger can suck it.
Yea, I bought a Kroger brand apple cider that I couldn't get in my store because we're already out for the season.
I'd heard before that they don't always work from division to division so I'm not really surprised, it's just stupid since I live close enough to the border of where the divisions are.
I'm not even sure what division that store is to be honest, is there an Indianapolis division or what?
Edit: Looks like it's central division.... anyone from that division who knows how their employee discounts work?
