When I checked it out months ago, it didn't require a company email from me, but it did have me go through a ton of multi-step procedures that's littered with broken or expired links.
You'd be better off using your own school's discounts. That's what I ended up doing, and it was MUCH better than Kroger's (the entire MS Office package for roughly $25).
Now, I can't say that your school's would have the same deal, but check anyway. Shoot, check your store's bookstore if it has one.
And for the record: When I say "school", I mean college/university. I'm not sure if High Schools offer those perks too.
go to a computer @ work, log in to citrix, and then go into outlook. send an email or something or look at the top, youll have an email address. should be something like firstname.lastname@stores.kroger.com or something
No, not everyone has one. The steps SCO described would only work for someone who already has outlook access through citrix (i.e. has an email provisioned.)
Afaik, most/all employees can log in to citrix and have access to IE to get to kweb, but this indicates nothing about email access.
Just happened to stumble upon the page for this MS Office purchase program on BarneyWeb today. It says specifically on that page that a corporate email is required to take part in the discount purchase program. Thus, if you aren't provisioned with company email access, you cannot use the discount.
