Just throwing this out there, who has heard any good intercom pranks at their store lately? Even accidental pages! I bet you'd have a hard time keeping your act together if you too heard someone from receiving who lost a bet page, "Where the hell is the toilet paper when you need it?!"
Once had a sales associate call the store number on their cell phone, and have the twit covering that line page out for "Mike Hunt, you have a call at the customer service desk. Mike Hunt to the service desk, please." I still can't believe any one would fall for that.
Happens all the time at my store. Most of the time it happens after a front end supervisor pages somebody some other idiot will go to receiving and press page on speaker phone causing a feed back loop or just drop the phone since its high off the ground it will hit the ground bounce up and hit it several more times making it sound like an accident.
We don't really have anything like that happen here, the only thing I can think of is when people don't know what their doing and the music stops and you hear loud phone beeping throughout the store. Once that went on for a good 5 minutes.
One time we had a fuel center associate have someone run off with gas and she paged for the manager and forgot to hang up the phone and started saying stuff like "oh my god" I can't believe this ******* happened to me
