When they were sent out last year I got mine about on the 3rd of February. I'm expecting the same this year, however I'm not entirely sure. Companies do have until the end of January to send out the W-2 forms though.
Some people never signed up on w2express and the AA person at my store signed them up and their W2 was posted. I think everyone already has an account it just has to be activated with a password. Then for some or maybe all they will see their w2 when they log in. I believe one day they will stop mailing w2's and you will have to use w2express.
