I decided to take all of my vacation weeks all at once at the end of the year. However, I had to work a week while someone else took theirs and then I resumed the rest the week after. Is this due to seniority? I ask because the other person is a spot above me.

If you need the lot cleared pray that he's out there...somewhere.
For smaller depts. only one person in the dept. can be on vacation at a time. And vacation requests are taken by seniority. Not sure how many can be on vacation at a time for larger depts. such as the front end.
