Is it wrong for Walmart to cut back on redundancy?
Why is it wrong for Walmart to cut back costs? They're not a charity or a government labor program. They are a business.
If you really hate the way walmart does things, don't do business with them.
Whats wrong here is Walmart is running somewhere around 15 billion dollars in profits each year. The stores are already short staffed and Walmart already has a hard time as is filling shelves. This is just going to create a bigger burden on the employees at these stores with no added extra pay. Kroger is running out of ways to keep these profits up as well. They're running out of ways to cut corners and eventually i'm thinking they will target ELMs to squeeze some more profits at the expense of their workforce. I've been told time and time again that labor is the only cost they can control, but there are alot of stores that are shorthanded. You have to keep customers happy otherwise they will go out and find another retailer if we can't keep things stocked and bring in what they want.
