I've been a backup in the non-foods (drug/gm) department for going on a year and a half and it's a great department to be in, I mean I love it but why is it that I'm the only manager in the entire store that has job steps. why cant I just get bumped up to a certain pay upon being promoted and why is it that drug/gm does just as much work as grocery, handles their own bills, handles their own returns, and has less hours and employees but for some reason gets paid consiterally less then their fellow departments.
