Went in for my shift tonight and when i stepped into dairy cooler i was like 'WOW" we have been wiped out! Only had a bit of milk left a few gallons mostly half gallons. Cheese and dips were the same way. The chaos wasnt too bad for about an hour maybe two then it was mostly a ghost town. Spent most of the time grabbing dollies and getting out what i could. Anyone else work tonight and dealt with the madness??

Oh yeah. I work in the meat/Seafood dept. We had buy one get one free baby back ribs. We couldn't keep them stocked. As well as having to deal with customers who apparently couldn't read who thought ALL ribs were buy one get one. On top of trying to keep everything else stocked as well as cleaning the saw room and grinders while stopping every few seconds to see if any customers needed help at the service counter. Fun night.

I cashiered.  It was awful.  It's holiday level busy until the game starts, then it's dead for the rest of the game.

We still have empty shelves.  It doesn't even look like anybody restocked.  I wonder how many more days it's going to take to recover.

When it got quiet i was able to grab dollies of backstock and get it out on the shelves to fill some holes, but the milk was mostly wiped out. The truck didnt arrive with shipment on my shift so i hope they were able to fill the empty spots overnight. If you still have empty shelves are you in a smaller store??

The "die down" was time that i knew i could work alot of the stock with little interruptions. Although it was a bit strange to see the store that quiet!
