I had everything drug test,background check, copied Id , ss and birth certificate now I'm waiting on my background check it's still pending she called me yesterday evening telling me.
I never did anything in my life bad so why hasn't it came up clear yet ??!! Its been 8 days now and I can't even sleep because I'm stressed over it
I just don't want to be throw away because my background taking so long. This will be my first job and she told me I'll be working as a cashier and I should be starting next week. Which is now this week.
I think the times vary a lot, and they dont always send them in right away. My background check came back in about 5 days, but my drug test took 10. They probably didnt submit the background check right away.
I really believe so! Also we had bad weather for two days that might of delayed it a little. I'm praying that I'll get this job I really need it! I feel useless without my own income :(
Took over two weeks for me to hear back after my drug test to get hired. If they're behind, which they probably are with superbowl rush and everything, it could take awhile. Be patient. They didn't forget about you.

Almost two weeks for me also on the bground check. They said if I have lived in different states or counties, it takes longer to get information back from different places. Also she called you with an update so they are on it.
I have no clue I was interviewed and hired all within a week so I don't know what's taking so long but It does vary. Took my drug test and background check 2-3 days before they called me back saying I got the job.
Hang in there. This is about the same as when I was hired. Ten days hit on or before the weekend and that next wed., they called. Background check took forever even tho its clean.
Good job on waiting. I got tired of waiting (2 weeks) on my background check results to come in and interviewed at two other places but Kroger called before I got call backs from them.
