I was on register and tried to check my ring tender but hit the wrong key and this came out I thought it was cool and wanted to try again but can't remember how I did it. No one on the office even knew it existed. I think it was no sale something sign on. The thing is to block numbers that may be identifying to me.

NoSale 96 SignOn
Actually I meant to say NoSale 96 SignOn is for ring tender. NoSale Cash (or CashTender) is what produces the slip showing till contents. You need to print that out and sign it before you make a drop.
doing a no cash slip is typical when picking up a till to be counted or moved to the safe.
When you're counting it, yes, but when you're moving it to the safe, don't worry about it. Morning accounting gets those numbers in veribalance automatically, so there's no point.

of course there is. we don't count every time we switch tills on the floor. we need a way to demarcate which till is which so we do a no sale cash and stick it in the safe until someone gets to it even if that's morning accounting. we use the time nearest the time on the slip in the till or the last sign off time and balance it.

Oh your store swaps tills in and out of checklanes? That would be a reason to put the slip in with the till. I didn't know any divisions still did that. Afaik most don't.
For us, there's a till exchange in the morning, then they take our large bills and some 20's at two different times, then they take our tills in the evening.
At my store we stopped picking up money at all during the day.We just do drops and then they come around at night and pick it up. So by the time the afternoon rolls around we have to clear a message each time that a pick up is needed.

At least around here, the key retailing standard is to do pickups on all the tills whenever one calls for a pickup.

Some stores don't need it. Other stores you have pick up slips to fill out. At my store we'll just grab a pile of cash, usually the big bills and the twenties. If it's asking for a pickup because there's a previous till to count, we go count it. If it's near the end of the night and the till is about to be put up, we just ignore it.
Y'know those white price correction sheets on registers? Yeah, we don't use those. We either send a CC to check, or of our CC would happen to be incompetent or if it's busy, we just negotiate a price of sorts. Is that against policy? Most likely. Does anyone from management care? Only when there's big shots in the upper meeting rooms.
Also, those stickers that has our policy regarding items not scanning properly. Yeah, not even customers pay attention to it even though it'll benefit them. If an item rings up incorrectly instead of what was on the shelf, they either get that item for free up to a certain quantity, or they get some form of store credit (normally a $5 gift card). LOLNOPE! The customer and the cashier (sometimes) would get in a verbal confrontation, ending with the customer telling us that he/she will never shop with us again (but comes back next week).
