So I go to court next month for my injury. The grocery manager, co-manager and store manager signed injury reports. Now their story is it never happened. How could I have made up this injury. I was ran over both feet with power pallet jack, within minutes my foot went numb and burning sensation which is how I will be the rest of my life-NO CURE! I have been diagnosed with condition of reflex synapsis dystrophy, RSD for short never heard of it but I know how it feels
Can anyone help me? Sedwick and Kroger have paid for very little medical and no wages paid at all.
All this happened at Timberlake Road store in Lynchburg Virginia. WC injury date of 6-22-12. The store manager MR Shifflett drove me to doctor since I could hardly walk. Now I have a cane, walker, crutches and have to ride motor carts in Wal-Mart while people give me looks. I'm only 35.
If your feet got run over it should have been on camera. Hire a lawyer, have him subpoena Kroger, and watch the tapes they hand over. No tapes = you're screwed.
Make sure you got copied of those tapes that got the injury by ANY means. Secondly, if you have managed to get a copy of those tapes, and the doctor said it was at work, then if management and co says it never happened, then they can say it all they want. YOU win end if story. Will they hate you? YES.
But MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COPY OF THISE TAPES! Also, make sure there is no weed or other stuff in your system. If there is then your screwed. If your clean, then best of luck.
I do not smoke weed. Yes I hired Jaleh Slominski the next day I was terminated. That is a really good idea about getting tapes, thanks. My injury occurred in the back right next to loading docks and I think there is a camera. Also I was going to join union out of last paycheck, local 404.

If you're talking about using a paycheck you haven't received yet to join the union, that's laughable. You can't join a union for a workforce you are no longer a part of.
