Hello, I'm so worried I might get fired. I just started working at Kroger about 2 weeks ago in the Produce Deparment. I was on my own from 10 pm to 11 pm tonight to close up, and I had to put all of the corn husks in the compost outback, so I was going to go do that, and I forgot that the alarm was activated. I set off the alarm..and someone from grocery had to come and disarm it.. I'm so scared, because I'm not part of the union yet as the payment is split up over 4 paychecks. Should I be worried, or do you think i'll be fine? Also, they have camaeras back there, so they'll know I'm the one that set the alarm off. The guy from grocery was cool about it, but I don't know if anyone else will find out.
I don't think anyone's gonna care that much. As long as it didn't cost the store money, you should be fine. The worst that'll happen is that you'll get teased about it in the future.
Umm, I would not worry about it. You are new and didn't know that you need someone to unlock the back door so you can get to the outside. As long as you were not stealing, you should be ok.
If no one is on duty that has the key to the backdoor and you gain trust, there should be a key at the customer service desk you can check out if no one else has a key to get out the backdoor.
The door that set off the alarm is for emergencies only.
Honestly, I do not think it will be a problem for you.
I'm more interested about what alarm could you have set off.
We have nothing fancy like that here. Store is open until 1 AM.
Hurr durr you haven't evolved enough to understand that all backdoors have alarms?
And you, kind idiot, haven't evolved enough to read basic English. I've underlined and bolded the part that would've implied something that would null your little remark.
Go back and bale some cardboard, dumb****.
EDIT: I'm sorry. I just realized that you may just need a dictionary. Your local library should have one. Sadly, you live in a place that's backwater hillbilly zone. Ah well, can't be helped now, eh?
